Off for a week - technical issues

Okay, so the cord that charges my laptop went kaput this morning. Last night it had been acting up, but this morning it just all together died on me. It's the wiring in it, I know that much.

Anyways, I gave mom my laptop's make a model, and she went down to Future Shop and got me a new charging cord. Now It's just a matter of waiting boredly for me to get it, on thursday afternoon. DX Won't be much good that late in the week, but oh well. Better than waiting for the weekend.

Right now I'm in the computer lab at school, I just finished my business project. Which was a lot easier than I expected. w00t?

But anyways, just thought I'd let you guys know what was up and why I'm not on msn and what not.

Looks like I won't be doing any writing, oekaki/dolls, drawings, reading, game-playing, music listening... GAH! I'm going to die. ;_; I'd rather be as sick as I was last week and have my compy than I would be healthy as I am now and be without. ;_;

At least I remembered to bring my book up this week.

Oooh, Richard A. Knaak, in times of dire peril, you never fail to pull through for me. You're so dedicated that I almost love you more than my laptop~ (my laptop, no, it's charging cord, fuck yes.)

Anyways, so I'm off to have an affair with a book while my laptop lies dead/dormant on my desk, being none the wiser to the fanciful thoguhts that shall fill my head. Ohoho, Bacon, you're a sly one.

Ahem. Anyways. Cough. Ta!'

PS Still haven't bit my nails! Lost two's lenghtiness to breaking even! Yaaay they're getting long!

Uwuuh... MOST RETARDED DREAM EVER.

I was going to post something of significance here but I can't remember what. Uhhh...

Oh yeah! When I went back to school yesterday I had 2 or 3 people tell me that on Tuesday night - the night I left - my room mate got extremely drunk and puked in our neighbor's closet. I guess she doesn't even remember drinking. As well, according to Sarah, when she walked in our room Wednesday morning, she noticed there was no air mattress on the floor and my bed was not messy. So she asked my room mate, Annemarie, where Jason slept. Aparently, he slept in her bed. ...And so did she. Whuuuuut? (but nothing happened out side of actual sleep, I guess)

She's the one who always babysits all the other drunks. Had I not gone home, something tells I would have been the one babysitting. Harrharr.

Anyways, so yeah, it's Spring Expo weekend and everyone's staying at Ridgetown, except for myself, who went home promptly after class last night.

Since it's Spring Expo weekend, in Floral Design we were supposed to make corsages but since I wasn't going I got to make whatever the hell I wanted. I made a pretty pretty flower crown~ You can see it on my dA, here. Yeah. Took me three hours. It was sweet.

I finsihed up my flower crown, the girl in our class who is a photographer took pretty pictures of it for me/it on me, and we had fun.

Then I went home and got food. And played Rock Band. Then I slept.

I was so happy because last night Zetsu slept on my bed, which he hasn't done in weeks. It made me happy inside. Then I realized that my cousin Steve was sleeping on my couch, therefore my dog could not, so that's probably the only reason he slept on my bed. ;_; I feel so much less important now.

I hate not being home most of the time. Zetsu hardly spends time with me, aside from when he wants to play. He doens't even come when I call him any more. ;_;

In equally sad news, Travis' latest post made me feel really, REALLY bad about my art, I mean, because if his is considered crappy than what about mine? I'm so much worse off than he is. ;_; I suddenly feel so self concious about my drawings. ;_;

AND OMG! MOST SHOCKING UPDATE:

I had a dream.

I actually fucking dreamt.

I never dream!

and in my dream... now this is weird shit... Jimmie - you all know Jimmie, right? My steampunk character with the pretty long brown hair? Yeah? Good. - was a pirate.

That's right, good, respectable, kind-hearted, steam engine mechanic Jeremiah was a pirate. Whuuuut?

Anyways. For some reason he was like, a dog, and whenever Mareka (my blonde steampunk character) cried he'd turn back into people-Jimmie, but only until sunrise. Well, since she never cries, he was stuck as a dog for years and years, and for some reason I guess he was supposed to be dead? But anyways. So she's like, mid-20s by now and for some reason I don't even think existed she cried. And he turned into people. And for some reason he was on a pirate ship (that kept switching, inbetween "scenes" of my dream, from being traditional pirate-ship to steampunk pirate-ship, as did everyone's attire). And when he was a people he was like "holy shit I'm like, not a teenager any more D:". yeah. And then for some reason, Mareka, who was like, crying at home in the last scene, was now a prisioner on this ship, along with the rest of my good-guys main cast. Except for some reason Aerron and Angelina were still younger, and their kid Blake wasn't there, but their youngest child, still unnamed (because I haven't finished making them/naming them/haven't used them yet (it was one of the twins)) was also there.

And every day, the pirate crew would throw one of my charaters over board. And for some reason Jimmie was stuck human, and nobody recognized him? ...Well, when he did turn people, he grew a beard so they wouldn't. aparently bearded!Jeremiah =/= Jeremiah. Anyways. So Jeremiah/Jimmie was like "oh noes, I need to save them, but how?" so he noticed a nearby small tropical island thing. And he figured, "Okay, all my friends that are getting chuked over board are swimming there." And I guess he figured this because Mareka got thrown over board first, a few days prior to this discovery of his, and she wasn't dead yet. He somehow knew she wasn't dead, but I don't know how. Anyways.

So the pirate crew sends a small load of people to the island every day to gather food/supplies and stuff. And Jimmie realizes "Okay, they're not actually here to kill off my peeps, but they're gathering supplies. Making these guys walk the plank is just a bonus, for entertainment value." or something. I dunno. Anyways, all of my characters that were captives make it to the island, even the two year old kid of Aerron and Angelina's. wtf. Anyways. So all along Jimmie has been blending in as a pirate and getting buddy-buddy with the captain.

Eventually, in order to save his friends, he comes up with a cool idea. He goes to the captain and tells him something like "There's people on board who are planning a mutiny," because there were, but he never talks to them so how he knew I have no idea, and for some reason he said it in pirate-speak and how Jimmie would be able to talk like a convincing pirate I know not, and the captain was all like "orly?" and Jimmie was all "yarly" (I'm making this shit up). And it winds up the captain is all like, "omg this kid is awesome. I totally trust/like him. He's a great, loyal pirate." (oxymoron lol).

So the captain agrees to Jimmie's plan.

Here's Jimmie's plan: he convinced the captain to let him grab a few loyal crew members and all of the key members of the mutiny, go to the island for the last supply run - which was schedueled before the last person got thrown overboard (which was Aerron, I think, but it kept switching between being him and his wifey Angelina. In the end it was Aerron, anyways.) - but he got the captain to change it so they BROUGHT the last person to the island to be killed on this supply run. So anyways, Jimmie sneaks out early morning and takes one little boat that's towing another little boat all the way to the island. The captian watches him, amused, for no particular reason. He goes back with just one boat. Time rolls around for the last trip out, and for some reason the last person to be thrown over board actually isn't Aerron, but his and Angelina's yuongest children (now they're both there, and neither of them are overboard wtf), the twins.

So the twins are loaded in the boat along with the most loyal and most disloyal crew members, and off to shore they row~!

As soon as they get there Jimmie's like "btw I'm not here to kill the chrildens" and he pulls out his sword (which is actually canon! he does have one in the novel! But why it shows up now and not earlier... oh, PS, for some reason his beard is gone now) and just kills all the pirates! yaaay! And for some reason all the other MCs are there now. And then I realized he brought the other boat over earlier for a chance of escape, once they kill the pirates they can just row back to... er, wow, Jimmie, good plan, where the fuck are you going to go in that tiny boat. But anyways, good thing he brought it, because for some reason even though he killed all the pirates he brought with him the boat they came in is gone. So they're going to take the other boat away! But then out of nowhere it was just Jimmie and Mareka and it was night (even though five seconds earlier it was day) and he was like "btw when the sun rises I'll be a dog again" and she was like "oh, that sucks. That's okay you're just a ghost anyways." because aparently, she still thinks he's dead. And then depressed!Jimmie is all like "yeah I'm just a ghost" and then somewhere around there I woke up and was like

WTF! That wasn't even cool. What a retarded dream.

So I'm going over it in my head and trying to make the plot logical, or at least more smooth. and that damnned ship needs to stay steampunk. But anyways. I don't like dog!Jimmie and I don't like bearded!Jimmie and I don't like depressed!Jimmie and I don't like pirate!Jimmie. And I don't like crying!Mareka. And I don't like my dream's inability to make up it's mind. KEEP THE SHIP THE SAME. STOP SWITCHING AROUND WHO'S THERE AND WHO ISN'T. STOP MAKING THE CHARACTERS SWITCH SPOTS. STOP MAKING THINGS DISAPPEAR.

Omg. Seriously. It felt like drunken brainstorming for some hideous PotC/my novel crossover crack-fic that was planned within a whole two seconds and written without making a solid plot or working out the details. It wasn't even entertaining. It pissed me right the hell off.

Now I know why I don't dream, my dreams infuriate me with their retardedness. Seriously. If it was an actaul person that stood before me and told me all this, I would have a hell of a time trying not to scream at them to shut the fuck up and I would have an even harder time trying not to slap them, or punch them. Because it's seriously so infuriatingly retarded that I hate it. Augh.

This week was a good week.

First off, visit my town. (if you visited it already, visit it again - it resets the population counter (but not the count) each day so if you visit it everyday it helps my population to go up)

Okay, now on to the real entry hurr.

This week was a good week.

I'm not sure why, it's just, today, while eating breakfast alone, by the window looking out at the arboretum (which is very pretty, even when half the trees are in their winter dormancy), I mused over the past week. And for some reason, it felt good. I've never felt like that about a week here, ever. I liked it.

I don't remember why it's so good - I can't really remember too much from this week. I actually don't think this week was particularly fantastic. It's just, yesterday was such a fun, amazing, stress-release day for me that today feels good. I suppose it helps I went to bed earlier than usual and even didn't have to get up for an extra hour this morning. Teehee. But anyways.

During the week I've been getting various midterms back, and the one I was fairly certain i had failed came back with a 78%. That was a very pleasant surprise. I got my report card, my highest mark is a 92%, and it's in the class I never go to/never do the work in. Hurrhurr. My average is 77%, simply because business accounting is dragging it down (67%, augh).

But yesterday, I managed to keep awake in plant prop (only to find out I forgot to cut off the terminal buds on my grafts. Oops. I hope they still take DX). I understood what business accounting was going on about. I actually did my work in computers, simply to see if i can make my mark even higher (haha). I had floral design for a nice five hours straight, and I LOVED it. Sooo relaxing! And my design was so pretty! After I finished my design and my vase, I waited for Sarah to finish (she's always last). I didn't mind, because Sarah's fun, and that class is fun. So while waiting, I found a tiny piece of oasis (the green foam arrangements go in) and started poking all the little buds off the minicarnations that were lying around into it. then I poked some little pieces of leather into it, then the caspia, then the variegated whateverthefuckthatonewas, then some fresia buds, and a weirdass leaf in the back. The teacher loved it, she wanted to give me bonus marks, but said it would be unfair to Adam (who made a corsage when he was done and got nothing). But I was fine with that, because this tiny arrangement is amazing and tiny and AWESOME! I'll have to up a picture of it later.

and last night I got drunk with Pauline, Steph, and them. Huuhuu. It was a lot of fun. But I didn't get to snag any of Justin's raspberry wine (which he was putting shots of sourpuss into, whuuut?) while he was out for a smoke, so I was a little sad, but regardless, last night was great. ^^ It wasn't even wild, just... very casual but fun/funny, it was great :D

And tonight I get to hang out with Rosstopher, hooray!

This weather makes me depressed. ;_;

So, I dropped Landscape construction again. Phew, no more fucked up, annoying scheduling.

Started playing Perfect World International today (I've had it downloaded for months, but never touched it), and seriously? I love it. How rare is it that you can find an online rpg that has better character customization than the Sims 2? And seamless areas? i like it. The only thing I don't like is that if you want an animal-people you're either stuck with big, ugly (probably sweaty and smelly) anthro guys (tigers, lions, pandas, and... er... wolf I think?), or normals girls with ears and a tail - foxes, cats, rabbits, bats and even DEER, but no f#@$ing raccoons D=< I fucking love tanuki pplz. lieksrzly. but anyways. So my character is a winged elf (which is basically a normal elf but with a fancy title) and green hair reminiscent of shadow the hedgehog and creepy eyes and a bigass warhammer (I ran out of arrows so I just used this badass hammer I looted). And she can fllllyyyyy. And when she flies she grows wiiiiiings. And they sparkle :D And I also like this game because you can swim. And beat the shit out of big, ugly turtles and I LOVE BEING IN THE LAKESomg. ....end rambling. :D

But yeah, onto the weather we've all been talking about.
You're all happy about it, but...
it makes me depressed. ;_;
I like winter. I love snow. Just walking outside with my scarf on and freezing my ass off but the QUIET and the COLD and the... I dunno... just something about the calm and quiet of winter evenings just wriggles deep down into me and makes me feel all mellow, and I'm never mellow, so I like it. It keeps me sane, I suppose.

That, and weather like this is all muggy and cold enough to need a coat to feel comfortable but warm enough for me not to want to wear one so I'm all frustrated with the temperature and getting a headache because the humidity and auuuuuuggggh.

And I just woke up from a two hour nap that did me a lot of good, I think. I'm not awake enough to figure that out yet.

PS downloaded the PHAAAAAANTOM OF THE OPERA IS THERE, INSIIIIIDE MY MIIIIIND. ...I love that song. X3

Okay bahye.

oh wait, before I forget, Emily's list kind of sort of got me thinking. Maybe I'll make my own list later.

Vampires, midterms, and tests, oh my! (skipping is involved)

First things first, tests.

Had one yesterday in accounting. Nobody in that class knew what was going on so we all guessed randomly, therefore we all got random marks. I, the uncaring, lazy, non-studier, got a 70%. My roommate, the studious, serious, omgcan'tletmymarksgetbelow80 (in a good way) type, got a 45%. Sarah got a 50%, Jason got a 60%. So yeah, all random. Online tests are laaaame.

Second things, vampires.

I gave blood yesterday w00t w00t. And after dealing with the Ridgetown volunteer nurse ladies, I NEVER want to give blood in LAMBTON again. Seriously, the nurses volunteers whatevers peoples here were way awesomer and nicer and I like them. ;_;

Midterms up next.

Plant Propagation midterm was this morning, I think I passed, but only because I managed to recall some of the things I learned in Plant Science, haha. Though I'm not learning much in Plant Prop there's some comfort in knowing that Plant Science actually paid off, if its only purpose was to help me pass another class.

Last but not least, skipping.

Business accounting started ... a minute and a half ago. I decided not to go. Because it sucks and even when I do go it makes no sense. Uwaaaaah. So this means I don't have class again until 4. I really wanna take a nap, but I shouldn't, because soon Loraine will be stopping by because we got teamed up for some communications speech and I wasn't here that day so I didn't get to pick my partner/don't know what is going on but apparently an outline or something is due tomorrow. Uwaaaah. But back on topic, yeah, skipping accounting because it sucks.

PS The Live Bankai Show Code 002 just finished downloading. Eeehehehe.
And while we're on the topic of downloads, let's go down a list and see what's all on my BitTorrent right nao~

In order of completeness:

As well, Jenny had downloaded all the Digimon movies (dubbed) and gifted them to me, as well as the first two seasons of Black Lagoon (dual audio w/subs) (I think that's all there is of it, though). Soon she'll be giving me Sailor Moon, lol lol lol XD

So yeah, now it's easily understandable why I needed an external so bad <3 <3

Rage?

Today was a good day... generally. But comparing a good day to a good novel, there's always that twist at the end you least expect. Now, let me tell you about my "good day".

First things first... breakfast was actually cooked today; the bacon was crispy and delicious. I wasn't late for class. I'm one of the few people that gets accounting (out of a class of a few hundred, that's not bad). I spent two hours talking to my room mate - good gods, we spoke to eachother! - and have deduced that just because she's a bit older than me and more serious about her schooling and doesn't ever ever ever watch movies, she's still actually pretty alright. I managed to keep my socks dry up until lunch (a new record for me). At lunch, one of Jenny's new friends drove us to Timmie's, where we sat and ate and talked about animals and books for well over an hour. Almost went to Chattam with them, too; but wanting time to sit still and do nothing for 3 hours before class I chose that instead. In that time I sat still and did nothing, I almost finished that layout I was working on for Kin's Bleach site. Class was entertaining; I think I'll like this teacher, and this class.

And then came the anger.

I literally don't know what spurred it on. As soon as I left class, and was on the way up the stairs to my room, I just felt so. unjustifiably. angry. At nothing! I just suddenly felt really pissed off, and I didn't know why. For some reason... it felt good, too. I dunno. Hard to explain. I'm still wondering why I was angry (and I still feel the effects a bit, still feeling a little ranty and PO'd), and I'm still wondering why it felt like a good anger. Like I needed it, or something. I dunno. I plan on sitting alone in my room tonight and dwelling on it for a while (I swear, if Solo pesters me to play nwn one more time, I'll actually have a reason to feel angry!)

But yeah. That was my day. Bahye guys.
AND HAPPY BIRTHDAY TRAVIS. :D

PS because my nifty floral design class my room smells like carnations :D

urgishflurg.

It's cold out. And it's raining - not the kind of rain that's fun and worth while, but that stupid little caught-between-drizzling-and-spitting-and-maybe-actually-raining kinda rain that's just... uncool.

I had a midterm today, for a class I don't even understand.

I was pretty much well conned into joining some club I probably won't enjoy.

I had to work outside - in this weather - for the last three hours.

Stupid BitTorrent is telling me that, instead of taking two days to download my anime, it decided this morning that it's going to take a week or two. Which means I probably won't have Neverwinter Nights for... oooh, say, three weeks? (fuck. Seifer's even back nao D:)

...but you guys know what?

Today was an amazing day. And I feel strangely at peace with myself.

I went to Soils class at 8 this morning, for an hour, then math came... and it was optional, so I came back here and cussed at BitTorrent for being slow. An hour later, I went to Plant Science and took my midterm - considering how much I haven't learned in that class and how stupid it is, that damned midterm wasn't all that bad. I'm most likely going to pass. Then Plant ID class was just a plant tour - normally very imperative that one goes on the plant tours, but... it was for herbaceous perennials, so instead of tooling around campus and letting the long tours cut into my lunch time, I didn't go. Besides, the test isn't going to have livesamples for when that comes up, there's going to be pictures. Of them in spring. Hoo-hah. So half of my classes this morning = unvisited. And lunch?

Oh fuck yes, lunch was awesome. Free pizza, w00t w00t! And the school started a horticulture club, for the seniors and juniors of the program to be able to get to know eachother. Well over half of everyone in the Hort. program showed up, and there was FREE PIZZA (and pop - I grabbed some extras on my way out so my fridge here is stocked, hwahwa). And the club is mostly about fund raising, which is why it sucks. ...but, because we're fundraising, we'll get to go on trips and badass competitions. >=D f#@% yes. AND THERE WAS FREE PIZZA. No icky caf food for lunch, yeeey~

And after lunch, I had my three hour outdoor lab for landscape management.

And I loved it.

Sure, it was cold, and that pussyass-sucky-rainy raining, but it was fun. We tooled around on the mule and the gator after moving a few plants around in the nursery and pulling weeds outta 'em, then we weeded the gardens around the Vet. Tech building (I hate the vet. tech people, but kicking the shit out of mushrooms (literally, I got to kick them everywhere) was damn fun). Then we pruned the shit out of this poor little ground-cover shrub (called a "winter creeper", it's frickin' awesome, I want one) but since only five of us did it we like, get bonus marks or something for doing more than everyone else (and considering each lab is 5% of my final mark that rocks). Then we tooled around some more on the mule or the gator, and planted a whole shit load of mums out by the main sign (so if any of you drive by Ridgetown anytime soon, and you pass the college and see the kickass garden by the sign, think of me, awright? XD). We learned that the people from the town that are more apt for commiting doucebagger often steal plants from the nursery from the school, because they seem to be under the impression we're all funded or something, or that the plants are free for us and therefore them or something. We're nooooot. Our school has to buy those plants you assholes, so stop f#@$ing stealing our shit. Don't steal our compost either, we don't spend lots of research and time and money and work on it for you to think it's there so you can have it. ...Anyways, I'll stop ranting.

While cleaning up the garden before planting mums we found a coke bottle filled with a very questionable yellow substance. We all knew what it was, but Chris (teacher) flat out told us he refused to admit that that's what it might be; he kept on telling us he would designate it as being "aged coke that has lost it's pigments and turned flat and yellow". We decided to let him be like that, as he threw out the bottle without directly touching it. XD

After that, we tooled around A LOT more on the gator and found saplings and dug 'em up and put 'em in pots for the nursery. I found a red oak, and I fell in love with it. <3 It's my baby. I wanna take it home or something, but I need to ask Kennedy (teacher) or Chris (also teacher) first D= because Kennedy was pretty excited about it, too. -clings to tree- but he can keep his tulip trees, I want my red oak D:

Ah well.

It was a lot of fun, that's definately my favorite class. <3 <3

So today has been AWESOME so far.

If this luck of mine keeps up, hopefull BitTorrent will like, go faster and get my anime download done by tomorrow D=< I don't want to have to wait all weekend with a 3/4 finished anime download sitting around >3> It wouldn't be so bad if it let me watch the episodes, but it seems to download in random peices, so I pretty much well will have NOTHING actually on my computer until the download finishes.

Remind me to send and extra <3 to the friend who showed me how to download all the coolest free shit in the world. God, I love making friends with hackers. XD

TRAVIS. EPITAPH. NOW.

-ignore the title plz-

So yeah.

Today was fun/sucky as ever.
Surprise quiz... and 90% of the Plant Science class failed it lol lol lol. Silly teachers.
He's not counting it towards our mark w00t w00t.

But anyways. Yeah. Today wasn't a bad day, class wise. Nothing really stood out other than the failed test or the hour-and-a-half-and-then-some note in Plant ID. Ah well. What can you do.

Tonight is Pub Night, once again... and I scraped up all the change I could find, and now I can actually afford a ticket. But they're sold out. At first I was mad (BOTH vending machines in the lounge have gipped me now, douchebags, stealing my moneys that I need for beer), but then I realized it doesn't matter, because if I buy the ticket, I can't afford the beer.

-sighs-

there's always next week, I suppose.
